2022 Porsche Taycan Turbo

The 2022 Porsche Taycan sedan isn't the perfect electric vehicle, but it has the most engaging combination of driving vigour and performance endurance. Porsche's electrified four-door lives up to its premium pricing with a striking exterior and a highly customizable and high-tech interior.

The Taycan also does an excellent job of reminding its driver that they are driving a Porsche, thanks to its lively steering, stoic poise, and refined ride. Stomping on the accelerator is similar to firing a missile, except that it can be done repeatedly. While its brakes are excellent at containing that speed, they lack the regenerative properties of traditional EVs and have a passive feel. There will always be comparisons to the Tesla Model S, especially given the Porsche's comparatively short estimated range, but the 2022 Taycan is undeniably the more exciting option.
