2022 Kia Seltos Interior

The 2022 Kia Seltos has a nice cabin for the most part. The fit and finish are excellent, and the materials are of high quality. Even in higher trims, there are some hard plastics, which is unsurprising for a vehicle at this price.

Inside, the Seltos has significantly more space for passengers and cargo than the Kona. The materials used throughout the cabin are well-chosen and refined enough to look at home in the showroom alongside the brand's excellent Telluride SUV. Interior ambient lighting is standard on the upscale SX model and can be programmed to pulse in time with the music, similar to the system available in Kia's smaller Soul SUV. The cargo area easily swallowed our suitcases, backpacks, and photo bag during our test drive; in our testing, we fit eight carry-on suitcases in the cargo hold and 20 with the rear seats folded.

2022 Kia Seltos Cargo Space

Behind the rear seats of this Kia, there is 26.6 cubic feet of space. When you fold them down, you'll have a total of 62.8 cubic feet. Those figures aren't just good for a subcompact SUV; they also outperform some compact SUVs.

How Many People Does the Seltos Seat?

This Kia is a two-row SUV that seats five people. Cloth upholstery is standard, with the option of partial or full Syntex synthetic leather upholstery. Heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are among the other features. There are also driver and front passenger seatback pockets, as well as a rear-seat centre armrest.

The Seltos is a compact crossover with a lot of interior space. Both rows have plenty of head- and legroom, and even tall adults can sit comfortably in the back. The seats are comfortable, and the ability to recline the rear seats is a nice touch.

For the rear outboard seats, there are two complete sets of LATCH connectors. Aside from the lower anchors being set deeply in the seats, the setup is simple to use, earning the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's second-highest rating of Acceptable.
