2022 Kia EV6 GT-Line

Home
The Kia EV6 2022 is available in four trim levels: Light, Wind, GT-Line, and First Edition. We believe the Wind trim is the best bet for most buyers because it has the larger battery pack of the EV6 and, as a result, longer driving ranges on a full charge (up to 310 miles). It's also the first trim with all-wheel drive as an option. While the base Light trim is well-equipped, its 230-mile range may be too short for frequent road trippers or those who suffer from range anxiety.

The EV6 GT-Line is priced starting at $51,200 for rear-wheel-drive models and $55,900 for all-wheel-drive models. The EV6 Wind's powertrain and 77-kWh battery are shared by this trim, which also includes power-retractable door handles, a sunroof, a head-up display, blind spot monitoring, a surround-view parking camera system, remote-controlled parking, and a semi-autonomous highway driving mode.

How Fast Is the EV6?

The Kia EV6 base model can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in eight seconds. That's quick for a crossover SUV, but it's not exactly thrilling. The larger 77-kWh battery unlocks a bit more power, and it can propel rear-wheel-drive EV6 models from zero to 60 mph in seven seconds, while all-wheel-drive models can do it in five seconds. The top speed of the EV6 is limited to 117 mph.

Kia says an EV6 GT model with 576 horsepower and a zero-to-60 mph sprint time of 3.5 seconds will be available later this year.
