2020 Land Rover Defender Warranty

With the all-new 2020 Defender, Land Rover rewrites the history of one of its most iconic nameplates. Its boxy shape and retro details harken back to the original from the 1950s and combine with Land Rover's modern design language to create a look that is both sophisticated and nostalgic. While the 2020 Defender appears to be a typical crossover, it has serious off-road capabilities and rugged components that allow it to live up to its go-anywhere heritage. The Defender has tough cabin furnishings, but it also has upscale materials and a slew of luxury features.

The Defender, like its stablemates, will come with a standard warranty package that lasts four years or 50,000 miles. The Lexus GX, a similarly opulent off-roader, provides more value here with a six-year powertrain warranty and a year of complimentary maintenance.

The powertrain warranty is valid for four years or 50,000 miles.

There is no free scheduled maintenance.

The Defender is all-new for 2020, and unlike previous generations, this model will be available in the United States. The 2020 Defender is available in two-door (90 model) and four-door (110 model) body styles, each with a different wheelbase and amount of interior space. A smaller Defender 80 model is expected to join the lineup, but production of that compact SUV is still a couple of years away.
