2021 Cadillac CT5 Fuel

The 2021 Cadillac CT5 luxury sedan defies categorization. Its price is lower than that of typical premium compacts like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but its overall size is closer to that of midsize competitors. In addition to a starting price of less than $40,000, the CT5 has an angular, arguably attractive exterior design and Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving system.

According to the EPA, the 2021 CT5 with the standard turbo-four can achieve up to 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. The 335-hp V-6 gets up to 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, while the 360-hp version gets up to 18 mpg city and up to 27 mpg highway. The rear-drive Sport model managed 31 mpg on our 75-mph highway fuel-economy test route, which is part of our extensive testing regimen.

The CT5 is Cadillac's largest sedan and the replacement for the now-defunct CTS. It is, in fact, one of only two remaining American luxury sedans on the market, the other being the CT5's smaller sibling, the CT4. The CT5 has excellent handling and a plethora of features for the price. Cadillac's Super Cruise drive system is also appealing because it provides hands-free driving assistance on select highways.
