2023 Kia Sportage Interior

The Kia Sportage looks to make an impression on the inside, with a slick design highlighted by a large digital display on the dashboard and other eye-catching details. The images we've seen show an appealing two-tone colour scheme, with the shape of the air vents on the dash standing out. A rotary shift knob, a push-to-start button, and a slew of other controls blend into the piano-black bezel adorn the centre console. The Sportage has more rear-seat legroom and 40 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back seat thanks to larger overall dimensions and a longer wheelbase. A dual-level cargo floor adds even more versatility.

The all-new Kia Sportage will go on sale in early 2022 as a 2023 model. The Sportage is now in its fifth generation, and it's based on the same chassis as its Sorento sibling and Hyundai Tucson cousin.

As a result, the new Sportage is 7.1 inches longer than the previous model and has a 3.4-inch longer wheelbase. This increased size distinguishes the Sportage from its Seltos sibling while vastly improving interior space, particularly in the back seat. Kia also claims that the new Sportage has 39.6 cubic feet of cargo space in the back, which is a class-leading figure.
