2022 Kia Stinger Fuel

The 2022 Kia Stinger stands out among luxury small cars for its combination of value, amenities, performance, and comfort. You'd be hard pressed to find a better, more fun car at this price point, but if you stretch your budget a little further, there are some more intriguing options available.

2022 Kia Stinger Fuel

The rear-drive, four-cylinder 2022 Stinger is expected to have the best fuel economy, with EPA ratings of 22 mpg city and 32 highway. Naturally, the more powerful V-6 engine is less efficient, especially with all-wheel drive, which reduces its city and highway estimates to 17 mpg and 24 mpg, respectively. While we haven't tested the new 2.5-liter turbo-four on our 75-mph highway route, the all-wheel-drive, V-6 model we tested returned 26 mpg in that test.

Kia Stinger Gas Mileage

The 2022 Kia Stinger returns an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway when equipped with its base engine and standard rear-wheel drive. Those figures are reasonable, but not exceptional for a luxury small car. Stingers with four-cylinder engines and all-wheel drive have a lower fuel economy of 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

The RWD V6 Stinger gets 18/25 mpg city/highway, while the AWD V6 gets 17/24 mpg.
