2022 Kia Carnival Fuel

The Kia Carnival is completely redesigned for 2022, with updated styling, features, and technology to compete with the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, and newly redesigned Toyota Sienna minivans.

2022 Kia Carnival

The Kia Carnival will be available in four trim levels, ranging from the entry-level LX to the deluxe SX-Prestige, but the EX appears to be the sweet spot between features and price. The EX trim includes a power-operated rear liftgate, an in-cabin intercom, and a voice-control system that allows rear-seat passengers to provide commands to the Carnival's infotainment system, which helps to justify the cost of upgrading.

2022 Kia Carnival Fuel

The EPA's fuel-economy ratings for the 2022 Kia Carnival are 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined, which are slightly better than the numbers for the 2021 Sedona. We haven't had a chance to put the 2022 Carnival through our 75-mph highway fuel-economy test to see how it compares to the Pacifica, Odyssey, and Sienna, but we will when we do.

Kia Carnival Gas Mileage

This Kia gets 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Those are good numbers for a minivan, though most of the vehicles in the class are only a few mpg apart.
