2022 Kia Carnival Engine

Barnum & Bailey would be proud to own this Kia Carnival. As previously stated, there are numerous reasons to like this Kia, and it represents a good value in the class due to its low price, which is comparable to, if not lower than, that of several of its closest competitors. If you're looking for a minivan, the Carnival is a great option.

2022 Kia Carnival

2022 Kia Carnival Engine

The 2022 Kia Carnival is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine producing 290 horsepower; an eight-speed automatic transmission is standard. Unfortunately, all-wheel drive will not be available, as the Carnival will only be available as a front-wheel-drive model. The Pacifica has an optional plug-in hybrid powertrain, and the new-for-2021 Sienna is only available as a hybrid, but we don't expect Kia to offer such a configuration on the Carnival right away. According to Kia, the Carnival can tow up to 3500 pounds.

Kia Carnival Ride and Handling

The kia Carnival, like most minivans, has a relaxed driving style. It has a smooth ride, and the suspension does a good job of absorbing road bumps. The Carnival is a large vehicle, and it will lean slightly around turns, but for the most part, it feels stable and poised.

Kia Carnival Towing Capacity

The Kia Carnival can tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Does the Kia Carnival Have All-Wheel Drive?

No, the Kia Carnival only comes in front-wheel drive, which is standard for minivans. The Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica are the only vehicles in the class that offer all-wheel drive.
