2022 Ford Ranger Lariat

Home
The Ford Ranger comes in four-seat SuperCab and five-seat SuperCrew configurations. We believe that most buyers will prefer the SuperCrew body style because it has a much larger back seat that can comfortably accommodate adults or children, as well as full-size rear doors that allow for easy ingress and egress. The only drawback is that the SuperCrew is only available with the shorter 5-foot bed, which means you lose some cargo space.

The SuperCab (or extended cab) has a 6-foot bed, but the rear seats are so cramped and uncomfortable that they're better used for storage. The SuperCab's slim rear-hinged doors can also make entering and exiting the back seat difficult. To reach the rear door handle, the front door must be opened.

Which Ranger Bed Length Is Right for Me?

The Ford Ranger is available with 5-foot and 6-foot bed lengths. Both beds have plenty of room for camping gear, home improvement supplies, or mulch bags. However, the 6-foot bed is a better choice if you frequently haul long items, such as lumber or plywood, because the extra length provides more support. These items will also not stand out as much in transit.
