2022 Ford GT Safety

The 2022 Ford GT, which is about to be the ultimate Supercar's final hurrah, returns to our shores with no major changes other than a Special Edition. Ford has launched the Heritage Edition of the GT for this year to cap off what has been a fantastic success storey for the brand. The paint scheme is inspired by the very first GT, and the interior will be adorned with Lightspeed Blue accents. Ford has yet to officially announce the price of the 2022 GT, but we anticipate it to be in the $500,000 range.

Because the Ford GT is a low-volume, ultra-high-performance model, it is not crash-tested by either of the agencies that conduct these assessments. Similarly, it lacks any of the driver-assistance technology that has traditionally been baked into the majority of modern consumer vehicles.

The 2022 Ford GT will continue to be powered by a 660 hp turbo V6 engine, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Ford had only planned to produce 1350 units of the GT, and production will be halted once the Dearborn-based automaker reaches that number. In terms of competitors, nothing directly competes with this Ford. However, given the GT's Le Mans heritage and the legendary Snake-Stallion rivalry, it would be fair to pit it against the Ferrari F8 Tributo. It also competes with the McLaren 720S and the Lamborghini Aventador S.
