2022 Ford GT Interior

Because the Ford GT is a road-going race car, don't expect it to have the same levels of luxury, comfort, or features as other supercars in its price range. In fact, Ford's interior is a little too serious – matte carbon fibre in four colour combinations, lightweight Sparco racing seats, a squarish racecar-like stalkless steering wheel with integrated shift lights, and, last but not least, a carbon fibre pedal box with adjustable aluminium brake and accelerator pedals – yes, the seats are non-adjustable! You do, however, get a steering column that can be adjusted.

The interior is equally captivating, but for a different reason: It's extremely minimalistic and driver-centric, with almost all controls relegated to the race-car-inspired steering wheel. Getting inside is difficult, but once inside, you'll notice that the driver's seat does not adjust. Instead, the pedals and steering wheel were designed to adjust to the driver's position in the fixed seat. The gauge cluster appears to have been lifted directly from a Ford GT race car, and another digital display is inset into the suede-wrapped dashboard and controls the infotainment functions.

There aren't many gadgets to play with in the cabin, either. A 10.1-inch colour LCD driver display and a 6.5-inch touchscreen display with Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system with voice recognition and navigation are standard. Standard features include an active noise-cancelling system, push-button start-stop, full LED headlamps, and a rear-view camera.
