2021 Cadillac CT5 Interior

Cadillac addressed some of the interior flaws of the CTS with this new sports sedan, namely a more user-friendly interface and straightforward design. Unfortunately, the quality of the cabin materials appears to be unworthy of the CT5's luxury status.

Premium Luxury models include a nice open-pore wood trim that elevates the interior design, but it coexists with cheap black plastic that could have been lifted from the plebian Chevrolet Malibu family sedan. The rear seat is more spacious than the CTS's, but rivals such as the Acura TLX and Volvo S60 are both more spacious. However, the trunks of all three vehicles are comparable in size, and each can accommodate five of our carry-on suitcases behind the rear seats.

2021 Cadillac CT5 Cargo Space

The trunk space in the Cadillac CT5 2021 is only 11.9 cubic feet. Only a few rivals have less storage space among luxury midsize cars, and that's because they're coupe, convertible, or hybrid models. To make matters worse, the trunk is narrow and features some unusual sculpting that can make it difficult to fit items of a certain size when the second-row seats are folded down.

How Many People Does the CT5 Seat?

This Cadillac sedan has a seating capacity of five people. The front positions have a lot of power adjustments, but the side support is lacking. The rear seat accommodations are adequate for a vehicle in this class. There is approximately 38 inches of legroom, which is only surpassed by a few competitors. The sloping roofline, on the other hand, reduces headroom.

2021 Cadillac CT5 and Child Car Seats

The CT5 comes with two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats, as well as a tether anchor for the rear middle seat. The lower anchors are easy to locate, and most types of child car seats fit comfortably and with plenty of space in the second row.
