2021 Cadillac CT5 Engine

The Cadillac CT5, like the smaller CT4, will receive a new Diamond Sky Metallic Edition package for 2021, which includes unique exterior and interior design elements, as well as distinctive wheels. A new 12.0-inch digital gauge display is now available, and Cadillac's Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving mode will be available as an option on 2021 CT5s.

2021 Cadillac CT5 Engine

The Cadillac CT5 is equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower, one of the lowest ratings in the class. Some critics say the acceleration is adequate, while others think it's a little underpowered.

A twin-turbocharged V6 is a better option. It produces 335 horsepower in the CT5 Premium Luxury trim and 360 horses in the V-Series trim. Power comes on strong and steady after a split second of turbo lag.

The engines are both mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This is a strong point of the powertrain because it is responsive and makes timely shifts.

2021 Cadillac CT5 Ride and Handling

The Cadillac CT5's plush ride is the best part of its driving dynamics. However, don't expect a fun time with this Caddy. The steering lacks feedback from the road, and the overall handling is uninspiring.
