2022 Ford Edge Warranty

The standard Ford Edge is adequate for most drivers, but if you want fast looks, skip the pricey Ford Edge ST; the ST-Line will suffice.

2022 Ford Edge Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

The Ford Edge's warranty coverage is nothing out of the ordinary for the segment, with nothing to set it apart from the competition.

Three years or 36,000 miles is the length of the limited warranty.

The powertrain warranty is valid for five years or 60,000 miles.

There is no free scheduled maintenance.

What Is New in 2022?

Beginning with the 2022 model year, entry-level SE trims will be available with a Black Appearance package. It gets 19-inch black wheels as well as a slew of black exterior accents. The SEL trim also gets an optional Adventure package, which includes 18-inch all-terrain tyres, faux-leather upholstery, and grey and black exterior accents. Several new dealer-installed accessories, including a centre console-mounted safe, have also been added to the spec sheet. Flight Blue and Forged Green have been added to the colour palette.

While the boosted V-6 power of the ST model sounds appealing, the price is anything but. We'd settle for the mid-level SEL model with the turbocharged four-cylinder. Moving up to the SEL adds plenty of features to justify the price increase, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a partially digital gauge display, a nine-speaker stereo system, heated front seats, a six-way power-adjustable passenger's seat, LED fog lamps, and more.
