The biggest difference between the 2022 and 2021 Ford Edge is that all-wheel drive is now standard on all models. Ford also broadens the availability of a few appearance packages across the lineup.

The Ford Edge ST has a starting price of $43,760. In addition to a more powerful engine, the ST features front sport seats and sporty, one-of-a-kind interior trim.

A $5,750 option package adds ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, automatic parking assist, a front-view camera, and a panoramic roof. The ST Performance Brake package costs $2,695 and includes 21-inch wheels, larger and vented brake rotors, red brake callipers, performance brake pads, and summer tyres.

SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST are the five trim levels available for the 2022 Ford Edge. Except for the ST, all models come standard with a 250-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 335-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission are standard on the Edge ST. Every trim level includes all-wheel drive.

Because of its numerous standard active safety aids and flashy infotainment system, the base Edge is a good choice. Upgrading to the SEL trim adds a few more amenities, such as power-adjustable front seats and access to a plethora of additional options.
