2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Infotainment

Perhaps you believe that the 472-hp Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is merely a stepping stone to the 668-hp Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. While it appears to be logical, this belief is incorrect. Even those who prefer the larger Blackwing admit that the smaller Blackwing is a fantastic car in its own right. Staff opinion is divided on the subject, but by the end of 10Best testing, the true believers had risen to proclaim that the CT4-V Blackwing is the superior sports sedan of the two.

To make their case, they first mentioned the CT4's base price of $59,990, which is $27,100 less than the larger Blackwing. The CT4's 3851-pound curb weight—279 pounds less than the CT5-V Blackwing—and tidier dimensions also appealed to the smaller-is-better crowd. They declared, "Less is more," before quoting Colin Chapman's psalms from Lotus, Chapter 7.

Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Infotainment and Connectivity

Every CT4-V Blackwing comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and multiple charging ports. Cadillac has, thankfully, moved on from its old CUE interface, which relied almost entirely on unintuitive touch-sensitive controls, and introduced a useful rotary knob and physical buttons to help operate its infotainment system. The Blackwing also includes a 14-speaker AKG stereo with brushed aluminium grilles and lightweight components as standard.
