2020 Cadillac Escalade Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

We like the Escalade's multitude of standard interior features, and its spacious front seats will accommodate a wide range of body types. Unfortunately, the massage functions and top-of-the-line materials are only available on the exorbitantly priced Platinum model. A pair of second-row captain's chairs come standard, but they can be swapped out for a 40/60 split-folding bench seat. Families with more than four members may want to opt for the second-row bench seat, as the third row of the shorter Escalade is only suitable for children.

The longer  Cadillac Escalade ESV's third row provides 9.7 inches more legroom, but those looking for the most third-row space should consider the extended Lincoln Navigator L. While both Escalades have a power-folding third row, the extended ESV is better suited for family road trips. It held eight more bags behind the third row with an extra 24 cubic feet than the shorter model (12 total). Both Cadillacs have practical interior cubby storage, as well as a large centre console with an optional refrigerated bin.

Cadillac Escalade and Vehicle Seats

Depending on whether you choose the standard captain's chairs or the available bench seat, the second row has two or three full sets of LATCH connectors. Each third-row seat has a single tether anchor.

Interior Design of the Cadillac Escalade

The interior of this luxury vehicle is mostly upscale, but there are a few plastic pieces shared with the Chevrolet Suburban that detract from the Escalade's overall interior quality.

Cargo Space in a Cadillac Escalade

When all three rows are upright, the Cadillac Escalade has 15.2 cubic feet of space, which is small for a luxury three-row SUV. With the third row folded down, this expands to 51.6 cubic feet and 94.2 cubic feet with both rear rows folded down. Both figures are higher than the average for a full-size SUV.

The Escalade ESV long-wheelbase variant has a more spacious 39.3 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 76.7 cubic feet behind the second row, and a maximum cargo capacity of 120.9 cubic feet.
